Two days. Many smiles. One shared experience that reminded us of the power of presence. These moments reminded us that impact is not measured by what we give, but by the relationships we build and the smiles we share.
While visiting Ghana, my family and I spent two meaningful days at Royal Seed Orphanage, creating space for connection, creativity, and shared moments.
During our first visit, we spent time reading with the children and hosting an art workshop designed to encourage creativity and self-expression. Through drawing and coloring, the children were able to express how they felt and tap into their imagination. We also spent time simply playing, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company moments that reminded us how powerful presence can be.
On our second visit, we returned to share a meal together. We provided 250 boxed meals of jollof rice and chicken, sat alongside the children to eat, and celebrated the moment through music and dancing. Sharing food together created a sense of togetherness that words alone cannot describe.
Overall, the experience was deeply meaningful. It was not just about giving, but about sharing moments, building relationships, and bringing smiles to the children and staff at the home.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed both with their time and financial support to make this possible. Your generosity helped create moments of joy, laughter, and connection that will not be forgotten.
We look forward to returning and continuing to support and grow our relationship with the children and staff at Royal Seed Orphanage.
